  • Galleri Christoffer Egelund - Gallery Christoffer Egelund is a cutting-edge art gallery focusing on young Scandinavian and international contemporary art. Experimental and innovative approaches are an important agenda, to constantly challenge the boundaries of the gallery and the art scene itself. The artists represented works with a large variety of media e.g. works on paper, photos, paintings, sculptures, performance and video. The artists have received great recognition from curators, collectors, museum inspectors and critics. They are amongst most interesting artist from the young generation in Scandinavia. Important Collections, Biennials, Art fairs, Art Museums and galleries in Europe, U.S.A. and Asia, have been displayed works by the artists. Gallery Christoffer Egelund was establish in 2003 by owner and director Christoffer M. Egelund. The gallery is located in the historical old part of Copenhagen with 300 m2 exhibition space. The area has more than 30 galleries, The Danish National Art Museum, The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Art, Art institute and The Danish Art Council, make this area the most significant contemporary art scene in Denmark. The gallery is committed to further the careers of contemporary emerging artists by curating eight exhibitions annually and participating in art fair worldwide.
